The basics.
The field is spread out in a pyramid pattern: the bottom cards are shown face-up.
You are dealt two cards, shown at the bottom.
There are 14 cards: 1 to 13 plus a joker.
All cards match with cards one higher or one lower. The matching wraps around: 1 matches with 13, and 13 matches with 1. The jokers matches with any other card.
Match face-up cards with the cards you are dealt.
Cards match with higher or lower cards.
Tap on a face-up card to match it with one of your cards at the bottom.
In the example, 8 is matched to 7, then 7 is matched to 8: next, 6 is matched to 7, then 5 to 6.

Some cards hold a power-up
Get extra cards to keep the game going longer, or earn an extra place on the bottom, increasing your chance to match cards.
Keep matching to build up a streak.
When there’s no match, choose one of your cards to trade in. The streak you build up goes back to the top of the field, allowing you to keep on playing.
So, what’s going on at the bottom?
On the left: your current score is shown. Try to get this as high as possible to look good on the rankings.
In the middle: the speed bonus. Whenever you make your move, the current value of the speed bonus is added to your score. The faster you play, the higher the bonus. The value of the speed bonus increases by 5 every 5 rows: the longer you play, the more valuable it becomes to play fast.
On the right: the amount of cards you have left in the deck. When you’re out of cards, the game is over.
That’s the basics.
You’re ready to get competitive.

The #1 player gets a coveted spot on the leaderboard.
When the ranking concludes, the highest scoring player is added to the all-time leaderboard as the best player of that day, week, month, or year.
There are 9 spots on the leaderboard for every rank. Become best player of the day, and you’ll be on the leaderboard for 9 days. Become the best player of the year, and you’ll be on the leaderboard for 9 years.
